Nomination
You must be nominated by an approved Australian employer whose business is actively and lawfully operating in Australia.
Skills & Experience
Must have at least 3 years of relevant work experience and a positive skills assessment (unless exempt).
English Language
Requirement of at least competent English (e.g., IELTS 6 in each component or equivalent).
THREE CORE STREAMS
Direct Entry
This stream lets skilled workers, who are nominated by an employer, live and work in Australia permanently. Ideal for those who haven't worked here before.
Labour Agreement
For workers who work for or will start working for an employer who is a party to a labour agreement signed with the government.
Temporary Transition
For 482 TSS visa holders who have worked for their nominating employer for at least two years and are now transitioning to PR.
